Gray

And when I go out of the house… it’s all gray… the background I mean… the streets are dark gray and the sky is light gray with some gray hues of different greyness… and some people would say “Boring, emotionless, GRAY”… and they would never see the smoothness of the sky ,and all the tranquillity and silence of the mood…

Gray is the perfect background…

All the colours are colourful when they are compared to the gray background… and all of them have their own personality and emotion… they speak to you in a way you would never understand if not for the gray background…

You would never see the beauty in the black tree left without leaves with thousands of tiny branches if you have the sunny crystal sky behind… would you? But when the sky is gray… it seems so huge… and strong… and it radiates some power and nobility…

You would never see the vivid face of the yellow leaf torn off of the tree… wafting gently in the air… resting on fresh green grass… would you? But if it is the only yellow spot on the gray pavement… it makes a difference…

And all that driving-me-crazy brick houses in this dark red-brownish colour look so… vivid I guess…

And you walk… and you see the details… and the colours… and the whole city and everything in it is speaking to you with its own words…

And the yellow is SO yellow… and the red is SO red… and the dark green is dark green… it’s not black or some other dark colour… each colour is so clear and so much itself…

London is beautiful in the autumn…
